our home but we would have to have lots of areas turned off just to cool one area, so we brought two Midea Appolo spit system, one for the lounge and one for our bedroom and the amount of cool air that flows through the system is amazing. The rooms are cool within minutes and stay nice a cool especially in the Australian Summer when he it can quite hot and our ducted aircon can’t handle the heat, the Midea has handled itself. It will cool not only our lounge but our adjacent kitchen and dining as well as some of the hallway. I like the the systems themselves move both horizontally and diagonally ensuring every inch of the area is cool. It also has a timer, which allows us to set it when we aren’t home or if we want it on while we go to sleep but not all night, this aircon is perfect for that. Not to mention the design of the systems are sleek and modern and blend seamlessly with out other decor. We are now big fans of the Midea brand and our over all satisfaction is super high and we would recommend them to anymore. Looking forward to another cool summer.

wifi, instant heating/cooling, strong enough aircon to push the heating & cooling through our living & kitchen area. We mainly bought our unit for the cooling component but have now started to use it in winter as its cheaper to run versus gas heater.

The WiFi feature works really well, easy to set-up & to link with the App.

I mainly control the aircon through the app but other family members prefer to use the remote control. I find controlling the unit from another room through the app is easier and more energy efficient especially on those very cool mornings. If I turn the heater on when I wake by the time I get breakfast the house is warm.

The filters are easy to access & to clean. Only thing I miss is unit doesn't display the room temperature. Overal this is a fantastic unit & the best air-conditioning unit we have owned.

Such a great investment, we ended up buying three split systems, a large 9kw for the family room, which on most days heats/cools the main part of the house. afternoon sun and was previously unbearable to sleep in, in the middle summer heat! Also LOVE that I can control the main system with my phone app, so can heat/cool the house before I get home, which is great!

Unreliab, failed in first 6 months, twice in about a year period – Failed within 6 months, with error code EL 01, which list says a communication error between inside and outside units. Outside unit had clicking sound. On warranty call, technician pulled out a circuit board with a component burnt out. Replaced and worked again; but… 6 months later, it failed again. extremely inconvenient. Even temperature reading inside was always off by a few degrees. Distance isn’t a problem either being around 9m from each unit where specs clearly states 30m. Get what you pay for. Budget brand equals more problems. Save yourself the headache and go with a better brand and something with more reviews. While it should still be warranty, it’d probably be less hassle and worry to just buy a completely different brand.
