Absolute junk. I threw an almost full bottle in the bin after using it twice. I've been washing, detailing and painting cars for over 25 years and this could well be the worst "car care" product I've ever seen. If you want to know what it would be like to wash your car with oily water- try this. The suds disappear within a couple of minutes… Read more

thanks to the ceramic/silicon ( let's call it for what it is - oil) so there is absolutely no cleaning properties in the detergent. I've never had to scrub so hard to clean paint than I did with this junk. Don't waste your money. Use a quality wash and wax and avoid these snake oils. After using their polishes for years, I'm disappointed to see Meguires put their name on such a substandard product.

Used it once today and am impressed... so far – Purchased a bottle of this stuff today to see if it would help protect our cars from very quickly getting dirty as we live on 5 Kms of dirt road. The paint work on this first car (my wife's) was quite decent but had not been polished at all in the last many months and certainly did not have ANY water beading characteristics prior to the… Read more

application of the product.

Most "Wash and Wax" one step products I have tried in the past seem OK as a wash but do little as far as putting a decent wax coating (or any noticeable coating at all) on the duco.

This one seems different though, there was an instant beading of water the moment it was applied. It was very "waxy" as it went on which was a little strange actually, but when the job was done the result was MUCH more like the car had had a wash with a good polish applied, compared to any other one step system I have used : - )

It was quick too, ESPECIALLY when compared to washing and polishing the car as per traditional means.

So far then, I am pleased. I will look forward to seeing just how long the sheen lasts and how well it maintains the shine and water beading characteristics with future rinse offs, dust, mud, etc.

The instructions say that the results are even better if you apply the stuff twice in a row, so perhaps on the next vehicle, (mine) I will try this.

I will try to re-visit this review in the future and let you know how well I feel it has worked long term.

Because the car I treated is a small to medium size (Suzuki SX-4 Adventure 4WD), I used 2/3 of the amount of product they say to use as I did not wish to waste it. It was perfect for this size vehicle.

It is not cheap compared to other products, ($49.95 for the two part system) but this will do around 17 treatments like I did today so the cost per each wash/wax will be VERY cheap - less than $3.00 each time.

Now, if I no longer need to do the arm tiring regular polishing ever again or even buy a CHEAP tin of polish (which works out around $7.00-$10.00 per polish, depending on how thorough I want to be and how big the car I am polishing is), this stuff should actually save HEAPS of money AND time.

We shall see : - )
