LG OLED C4 Series

When I bought this it had a feature called Always Ready which gave free screensavers. This has been updated to Gallery+ which charges for all but a few poor screensavers. So a feature that I paid for has been removed. The Koreans can't help themselves with their greed. Show details
I had this TV for a year now. Best purchase I've made in a long time. It came with LG C Series SC9S soundbard as combo. The picture is super clear. The software is very responsive, especially compared the previous version. Plenty of HDMI ports,… Read more
although I would prefer the had another HDMI 2.1 not just for the soundbar but also for a gaming PC. The setup of the LG soundbar was super easy, both remotes control the sound. I did a lot of research comparing the various TVs from Sony and Samsung very happy that I ended up going with LG especially for this price I got it for. Highly recommend the C4.
Follow-up · - During day time, if I don't close all the shutteres and blinds it's hard to watch, especially anything dark. Not sure how G4 would compare to this and theory it should be better with the glare. - It's very good regardless of the viewing angle. - Soundbar bass is fine but I think i should have gotten the back speakers too. Might upgrade the system in the future.

to my Luxman amplifier for amazing sound. This model is now superseded by a 2025 model. If there are any 2024 models left they could be at a good price. I always thought my next TV would be a Sony but I went for LG instead and I am glad I did.
Great picture. Some of the ways of changing things with the remote are dumb. My previous TV had a button on the remote to turn subtitles on and off. Single button press. For this TV, you need to press the button with three dots, then the down button 19 times, then Subtitle, then down to choose your language, then click again.
