Strong chemical odour of packaging – I love these Kurrajong Kitchen lavosh bites and have been a loyal consumer for numerous years. They are delicious! I rate them a 5! However, yesterday purchased a pack and on opening was alarmed by the obvious chemical smell emanating from the cardboard box (which I did not like handling). The inner cellophane bag enclosing the biscuits was fine… Read more
however & the lavosh were untainted, unspoilt.
This strange odour I have increasingly (and curiously) noticed on other food packaging etc.
Woolworths’ plastic check-out bags, some time ago, reeked very strongly of this same chemical odour. The bags were so strongly contaminated that I complained and was informed, others also had complained about them. (Bread products I purchased needed to be discarded as the fumes had permeated them.) The bags were made in China.
Unfortunately I will not be repurchase Kurrajong Kitchen lavosh until this packaging problem is resolved.
Absolutely fantastic – Absolutely Fantastic, great flavour and perfect for cheese dips and antipastos. My go to favourite when ever entertaining guests. Lovely and light crackers that don’t over power the accompanying items. Show details
Delicious yeast free crackers – Yeast free crackers are a rarity these days. And they're delicious and seriously addictive. Apparently their chip like form makes them great for dips, but i enjoy them plain.
Now our favorite crackers! – Tasty, fresh, crunchy...just the best! Perfect on their own or with a dip. We won't settle for anything less. AND Australian made!
Absolutely love these!! – Perfect with dip or on their own. Quite a hard cracker which I love as they don't break off in your dip.
So tasty, you'll be wanting more! – I recently tried the caramelized onion and sea salt lavosh thins.... one word = YUM! They are so delicious, I will definitely be buying these again! Can't believe they are Australian made aswell! Awesome!!
Good – I really liked these after a friend told me about them. They are Aussie owned and made, so thats a big plus. They would be great as part of a gift hamper to someone special (or to yourself). I havent tried them with a dip yet, because I just finish a box just on their own. I see them more regularly in the shops now, sometimes they are in the… Read more
cracker section, sometimes in the gourmet section. I like the crisp crunch of these snacks, they really do taste different. I like to eat them just on their own. Based on the nutrition label, they seem to be slightly healthier than the other cracker snacks. These are expensive, but sometimes can be found on sale. They are a bit hard to eat, so wouldnt suit someone who has any sensitive dental issues.
