I was a bit skeptical first so I called them before making a payment. Talked to a very helpful specialist on the phone, guided me through picking the right tyres and confirmed my order. Fitting was no hassle specially during my busy day. All in all, very happy! Doubt I’ll ever bother to go to a shop! The only downside is that you still have to do your own alignment.

This is my second time using mobile tyre shop , price is very good , technician arrived on time ,job done in approx 45 minutes , excellent service highly recommend. Show details

Follow-up  · Happy to give follow up , previous tyres were Continental , main reason for changing was road noise from rear , these Kumho tyres hold the road well and there is zero road noise very happy. Vehicle is BMW 523i.

These are great, super grippy and a good price for the performance. I had the same tyres in 275 30 20 fitted to the rear and they won't spin under hard acceleration. The front tyres are a lot smoother than the previous Achilles tyres, had them balanced so many times and couldn't get them good. If you want to upgrade from cheap tyres Kumho is a good step in my opinion

Very Bad Value Dishonest Product – I purchased a set of theses for $800 as the tread looked very shallow i checked it with a digital depth guage. It was only 5.77mm checked with Kuhmo Australia and they said the standard for new PS91's is 7.1mm. Kuhmo did not offer any assistance to rectify or comment on why they were like this. lucky the tyre fitting company were great and… Read more

swapped them for a company that doesn't try to rip its customers off. I will never consider Kuhmo tyres again.

Love these Tyres. Pretty much underated by most people but I have had Kumho tyres before and they are so much better on grip and ride quality than the Pirelli tyres previously. Show details

Follow-up  · just as I expected from these tyres. Great Grip and handling. Quieter than the OEM tyres replaced also. Car feels so much better to Drive also. Highly recommend these tyres

Good Tyre, not suited for MBs – Front factory Contis 5 runflat needed changing at 43k. I must admit, this factory's, on a 2018 MB W205 factory lowered, is quite good in sporty dry/wet handling, centering and tracking directionability. It is noisy on course road but that is unavoidable, on normal roads is OK. Can hear it but just turn up the music. W205 is not a particularly… Read more

quiet car anyway. Lasted 43Ks with some spirited driving is good. A big thumbs up, it had an excellent high rim protection. It is also MUCHO $$$$$$ to replace.

So after a month of research, settled on Kumho Ecsta PS71, I know, cheapskate! I have used Momo's on a 2011 W204 and that was an EXcellent tyre. BUT StGeorge don't bring them in the W205 sizes, 225/40/19. I regretted the going the Kumho way. Giving it 2 weeks sububurn and city driving, replaced it with Pirelli Dragon Sport. This review will be comparing it to factory Continentals and the Pirelli's.

Pros Softer sidewall - A little more compliance to NSW BAD road surface. Grip - good in dry, mundane driving, not overly slow but not that spirited, see Cons

Cons Direction tracking - Straight ahead tends to wander. I correct the wandering but then it goes the other way. Tho not as bad as going from side to side BUT like playing driving simulator with a steering wheel. Any correction made results in the opposite direction, so constantly making micro steering corrections. Cornering - Does not like to take a curve or corner. It under-steers and it needs to be steered and make micro adjustments mid corner. If it hits a an uneven surface, it will not hold its course. Rim protection - none whatsoever

Suburban driving - OK. Toll/Freeway speeds - needs constant micro straight ahead corrections. Sweeping curves, feels like fighting with the car. Country road - not confident on uneven / undulated surfaces and on sweeping corners. May be due to the softer sidewalls, car tends to micro-sway.

This review is not as bad as it sounds. I am a little bit more sensitive to the little drivability issues.

300k's and 2 weeks later, decided to swap out for Pirelli Dragon Sport based on research from this website and others. Initial drive, 50kays or so around suburb and short 100km/h sprint - Pirelli's sooooo much better. Much more stable and tracking is as good as factories. No more micro correction. Sweeping corners, back to normal. Noise - slightly less compared to Contis.

Better than low end Pirellis of the same spec – The car is a 400hp 1650kg car, and it came with low end Pirellis' all round, and Im regularly a spirited driver so Im testing the limit of grip regularly. 245/35R19 I thought Id try these Kumhos on the rears based on reviews and price being lower than the Pirelli. After trying them I ended up changing to the KU39 on the fronts also, I was… Read more

impressed to find better dry grip, better wet grip and great progressive loss of traction that Id never had with any tyres ive driven on before,

To explain that in different words, with 400hp its easy to lose traction in first gear and even sometimes 2nd gear these tyres gave more feedback to get a feel for when they might lose traction so its easier to avoid a real spill while driving the wheels off it, oops I mean spirited driving.

So in summary I got better grip all round and saved money compared to the Pirellis they replaced, noise level is average, I cant vouch for the fuel economy as I didnt keep track it on the previous tyres, and not clear on how many km you get out of them because spirited driving.

Second generation Kumho ECSTA 4X II (KU22) - best tyres ever bought! – I bought the second generation ECSTA 4x II for my BA Falcon and they are by far the best tyres I have ever used. Note, these are the updated version of the original ECSTA 4x. Kumho website stated that the second generation ECSTA 4x II has a much improved tread life than the original ECSTA 4x as well as better wet handling. Spot on. I have… Read more

traveled 25,000 kms to date with minimal wear. Car is driven aggressively and weighs 1.7 tonnes, so this is a amazing result compared to the many other brands I have tried over the past many years.

Over the years I have tried many different brands, including other Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese and even "premium European" (made in China) brands. The Kumhos are perfect even in the wet (anyone who has driven a Falcon knows how important rear-wheel traction is in the wet, especially on corners and roundabouts). They drive very smooth, are quiet on the freeway, grip very well in sharp corners and have amazing braking in dry and wet conditions... And they are much cheaper than the "premium European" brands too.

Can't fault them.

Tyres 225/50 17 been on Honda Euro for 10,000km. I am only expecting 50k life, on majority freeway commute almost worn down to flag markings on tyre. So low wear. line and change direction easily, no signs of slipping. Change and hold direction ok in dry.The car is noisy but can say the tyres reflect road surface driven on. I find that small adjustments are always required on steering wheel for the straight path.

The tyre, replaced as an emergency fix for a puncture, has held itself well over the last 1500kms. No additional noise over the other 3 tyres that are a different make. Handles just as well and is apparently for "EV" applications (has a foam liner to reduce road noise). Doesn't slip on gravel, mud or icy snow when driven within reasonable limits.… Read more

No issue with steering alignment and currently even wear, but at 1500kms, not long enough to form a solid longevity opinion.

Ok handling – These came standard on my Seltos. Always kept in alignment and the correct pressure. They have worn very evenly and handle everything well enough. Can be a bit noisy on some road surfaces. Treadwear is the only let down. Have done 28,000 ks and id say they'll be done by 30,000. Average wear for a cheap tyre. I'll try another brand with a better treadwear rating as these have a relatively low rating. Show details

VERY poor mileage – Quite good all weather handling, & reasonably quiet. I was very surprised and disappointed with their rapid wear though. We had only driven 33,000 k's on them; mostly freeways and major arterial roads, in a normal suburban wagon. Would NOT recommend. Show details

Good budget alternative – Had the Bridgestone potenza S001 on my Renault Megane and wore them down to the thread so needed a quick and cheap alternative to get me through to selling. The kumho tyres I bought off tyresales where nearly half the price of new Bridgestones and they gripped well in comparison. However to pin point and be a little more specific you could feel… Read more

slightly more bounce and more flexibility in the side walls when taking corners faster which can then doesnt allow for a loss of traction when sometimes needed. After pushing the kumho tyres and the car around the great alpine road already it looked like they wore out quite significantly. But overall a good cheaper alternative than whats recommended.

Having the new tyres fitted at home by MTS was excellent. It is my first experience and I will continue to use them in the future. The Kumho Ecsta PA51 tyres feel great. No issues in the wet and much quieter than the Continental tyres they replaced.

Reliable tyre specially on rainy days – This is my first time to use this brand, and they don’t fail my trust the grip was exceptional, and I feel the thickness of the tread even though it is a low profile kind of tyre.

I have done over 100,000 Kms on set , absolutely great tyres and hanndles well in dry and wet conditions – Absolutely happy with these tyres. bought a set of 4 from Tempe tyres and so far I have done 105K kms and still have about 5k kms thread left in them. I made sure to rotate them every 10K to get them to last over 100K kms! Show details

Sticky as a gecko – Fantastic tyres. I bought a set of these for my sedan and they are the best tyres I have had on. Much better than big brand and more expensive tyres including Michelin and Pirelli which I have used on my car previously. The wet and dry handling is brilliant and the car feels much more nimble. Great breaking performance and grip. Show details

A good midrange performance tyre – I'm about 10,000 k's in to these tyres and so far I'm happy. Wet wether performance is always my main consideration and I've been impressed. Much better than the Falken tyres I had previously. Noise is good. Can't comment on durability yet. Price is very reasonable. Show details

BEST TYRES EVER – After doing rigorous research on nearly every brand of tyres, I ended up buying the KHUMO ECSTA HS51 tyres for my Mazda 3. In my opinion these are the best tyres, and they sell at a very reasonable price compared to other brands. I couldn’t be happier. I bought them at Tyrepower at Kogarah.

good mid-range tyres – bought these tyres in sep 2017 and have ridden over 29,000Km. I would have liked to see the wear a bit more but other than that good all-around tyres i.e. low noise, grips well in dry and wet and rides comfortably. Show details

Outdid any expectations, so am writing a review – You'd think generally speaking a tyre is a tyre. I did. However I got these fitted (primarily because there was a special 3 for 4 at a nearby centre on the Kumho range). Didn't really think I would be impressed so much to jump back online and review a tyre, but here I am. Why? The quietness really exceeded my expectations. I have a Subaru xv. The… Read more

tyres it came with were fine, lasted 5 years/40,000 kms. But once getting the KU27's on, i realised how noisy the old ones were. Both rolling on the freeway, and even simply turning corners in carparks! Have also had a drive in the wet and they handled well, which I would expect from a premium tyre.

Fantastic Bang for Your Buck Tyres – Have used KU39's on two of my cars now. My 2014 Golf GTI had Continentals on which were soft and wore out in about 10,000km. I chose KU39's to replace them and for the next 35,000km they were a dream. Firm but with great traction and excellent (low) wear. it's common sense they need to be replaced when you hit the wear marks, once they're down to that they start to get a bit slippery .
