Streamlined and classy – I opted for the cliff dive bed head fabric and it’s a lovely look and texture. I also love the padded rim around the edge. 10/10 – This bed base was very easy to assemble, the best part is no tools required! It feels very sturdy and I love that it doesn’t have thin slats to hold the mattress, instead they are more solid pieces of timber and much wider. Sits at a very nice height off the ground. Customer service - excellent. Where else can you buy a bed one day and it arrives the next (or on the day if you order early enough). Also after I purchased I saw I had a 10% off offer in my inbox, Veronica Koala kindly applied as a refund it even though I had already paid.

Squeaky!!!! – Was a fantastic bed frame at the start then started to develop a squeak, now the squeaking is so loud it wakes you in your sleep. I have used bees wax and even wrapped cloth around the lugs to prevent any rubbing and it still squeaks. I have taken the bed apart so many times and find the base plate screws are coming loose and the centre legs base… Read more

plates have broken. I use to swear by koala products as they used to be built with such high quality but unfortunately not anymore and there customer support was amazing, but now they really did not even want to acknowledge the problem or help us fix it. Very disappointing from a brand I used to love and support. Customer support told me that "beds just squeak over time". Even cheap beds don't squeak after a year.

Paddington Base and mattress are awsome!! – Can not tell you how happy l am with the Paddington base and mattress.
