Best straightener I’ve owned in years – This straightener is the best I’ve owned in years. I used to be dedicated to the silver bullet and decided to take a risk based on reviews. No regrets at all, my hair is smoother than ever. It glides so smooth through the hair despite being damaged over the years by colour. Absolutely love it! Show details

Great straightener – **review is for the regular straightener not the wide plated straightener** Beats GHDs that I've used previously, I took photos the first time I used it because I was amazed by how well it worked. My hair bounced right up into the curl and was super easy, didn't have to keep going over areas. My hair doesn't holds curls well and getting it to… Read more
last the day can be a stretch but these were still in when I woke up which has never happened to me before.
I had a bit of texture/frizz on the ends of my hair today and the h2d softened these out; it makes my hair feel super light and soft.
Photos during, after and brushed out.
Great product – Great straightener, smooth on the hair and really nicely designed! Really happy with my purchase and I recommend the straightener to my friends and family. I also love the bag type thing it comes with.
Generally OK, but no good for frizz – Bought: 28/11/2019 Oz Hair & Beauty Paid: $129.00 during half-price sale With nothing but praise on at least four review sites, I went ahead and bought this -- thankfully during a half-price sale. If you've got frizz like I do, I'd advise to keep looking. Generally it's a nice straightener (albeit without a lock to close the thing!), but my first… Read more
doubt came when I saw, and smelt, the cheap plastic storage bag. It's nice to have a comb and two sectioning clips added, but the clips themselves were cheapo and didn't hold hair well, either.
As for functionality, it heated up to 230 degrees (ahem, are we sure?) in a count-up mode on the screen. The buttons were a bit cheapo feeling, too. The plates were smooth for the most part, but they did snag on the thinner hairline areas. I went over these areas carefully up to six times (!) with little to no improvement on kinks.
Overall, I feel taken for a ride once again. Still, if your hair has no issues it might be great for you, especially if working on hair that's been dried naturally. It just doesn't seem like anything worthwhile for those of us with frizz. Sigh.
I used this on long, wavy hair that had just been washed and blow dried straight*. It had been trimmed a few days prior, and washed, dried and straightened with another straightener the day before. The only styling product I used was L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Heat Protect Cream before drying.
Good luck for those wanting to give it a go. Hope it works well for you. :)
*Puffy straight, which is all I can achieve
Perfect straight hair – I love this lightweight straightener. It heats up so quickly. It’s is so smooth on my hair and glides very easily. It’s got a really long cord that doesn’t even tangled. I can only use 1 hand with this straightener because of a stroke and it’s just so lovely and lightweight. It’s also has different heat settings!! Fabulous. I have been wanting a straightener for ages and now I have found the best one ever.
