As another comment has pointed out, this product does leave powder stains on your dishes. Even when I ran hot cycle meant for pots and pans, the tablet is not "strong" enough to clean the residue food/oil on my plastic containers and bowls. Will not re-purchase. Show details

I bought these as they were on special. First I checked Product Review and as they had a high rating I went ahead with purchase. They do not clean like my regular dish tabs (Earth Choice) and leave powdery residue on everything, especially glasses. I have tried several brands over the years and Earth Choice the best imo. Show details

Best Dishwasher Tablets on the market – I have been using these dish tabs for years now and have not found anything better. I recently bought different, so called ‚eco‘ dish tabs, but nothing compares to Ecostore. I like how Ecostore doesn’t add fragrances to the dish tabs. Show details

Cleans well - and no hidden nasties in the ingredients! – Tablets are SO much easier to use than powder. I also like that these tablets don't have the yellow Tartrazine colour in them - like Finish does. When I finally went through the ingredients of other dishwashing tablets, I was appalled at what I found in them! So we switched to Ecostore tablets years ago - and haven't looked back. They've been used… Read more

in multiple dishwashers, and mostly fared very well. The ONLY ongoing gripe is the price! $23 now for a 50-pack?! Criminal! I only buy them on special now. Recently bought the Ecostore Dishwashing Powder that was on special - but it doesn't do as good a clean as the tablets. The cutlery actually gets clean with the tablets! One tablet works well for a heavy load - or a light load. I guess it's a bit of a waste to use these expensive tablets on light loads, though! Very occasionally a tablet doesn't quite dissolve, but sometimes they fall into a spot where that might occur. Occasionally there was a chalky film left on ceramicware on the old (crappy) dishwasher that did 'soft' washes, but the new one doesn't seem to do that, so I'd suggest that problem could be more of a dishwasher problem, not so much a tablet problem? If these tablets were cheaper, I think more people might buy them. The price is sky-high - but then again, I've been noticing ALL dishwashing tablets that give a decent clean seem to cost a lot these days.

Pleasantly surprised – I've been slowly converting our household to low tox products and I always thought I'd never get the same results without the nasty chemicals. I finally tried out the ecostore dishwasher tablets (my first ecostore product) and was really surprised that they cleaned just as well as the top branded tablets I've always bought. The dishes were… Read more

perfectly clean, seemed to have dried better and they didn't have the strong chemical odour to them. Side note: I only ever use a heavy setting on my Westinghouse so unsure what the results would be on a colder temperature or shorter wash. I paid full price for these at Woolies ($23 for 50 tablets) which works out much cheaper than my old ones which I used to purchase when half price at $27 for 48 tablets. Really happy with these and would recommend them.

Good for my Bosch – I really like them. Clean everything in my Bosch on economy setting. Never gets stuck in tray, fully dissolved. No residue on crockery unless take out when not fully dry. Show details

Eco friendly and does the job – I pretty much only buy ecostore products and they never disappoint. I find at the shop it’s hard to find environmentally friendly household cleaning products. The choice is limited. I started using the laundry liquid ecostore when I had my daughter as it’s fragrance free and no nasties. I slowly moved to everything. These tablets honestly does a… Read more

great job. It cleans well and it’s good for the environment. I had a couple of occasions the tablet half dissolved but to be fair it has happened to me before with other brand… I have read other reviews about powder left on dishes. Personally I have used these for over a year now and never had this issue. Not sure if it has to do with the cycle used. I always run 70 degree cycles which I know it’s not ideal but I often have pots and pans.

I need to give mine away – I really love to promote anything that is great for the environment but I'm afraid these left chalky residue all over my dishes. So I put the load through for another 1 hour wash with no tablet and they've still got powder visibly on them. I have a benchtop Kogan dishwasher which has been a dream and Earth brand tablets which I usually use have… Read more

never been a problem. Did Ecostore take the dirt off the dishes? Technically yes, they were clean just with chalk all over them.

Works well & minimal waste – We tried these ecostore dishwasher tablets as we were looking for a more environmentally friendly alternative to the popular brands. I’m really happy we did. The tablets come in their own dissolvable wrapper - so there’s no plastic waste from unwrapping each tablet. The only thing we’ll be left with at the end of the packet is the cardboard box,… Read more

which is obviously recyclable. The tablets do a great job, on par with the Finish tablets we were previously using. I think the ecostore tablets are a bit more expensive but if we get them on special it’s good. Overall very happy.

Fantastic and economical! – I bought these about three months ago on the strength of the positive reviews from here and I couldn't be happier. I have only tried with the half tablet suggestion, with no Finish added, and as it hasn't failed me yet, I will continue this way. Full disclosure though, I am not a person who puts large dishes or pots into my dishwasher as they… Read more

take up too much room, so I can't comment on those. I find these tablets so economical as I bought a 50 pack from Woolworths (on special) for $16, and as I get to halve them it's 16 cents a wash, so I am very happy.

Amazing clean – We switched to eco store dishwasher tabs in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. We haven’t been disappointed. They are a premium cleaner tab, and even clean and bring back shine to our copper bottom pots! Seriously impressed as no other cleaner has don’t that. We’ve been using this now for over a year. One box lasts about a month. Show details

Dishwasher Tablets – We have used the Ecostore dishwasher tablets for about three months and have found no problems until the last box we purchased. We did a normal wash and six new glasses came out absolutely ruined. They were cloudy and deeply etched which could not be removed. I contacted the company with photos. They got back to me and requested I send the box… Read more

and tablets to them. I eventually heard back from Adam to say they would refund the tablets price plus the value of the glasses. It is now a month on from then and nothing to show for my troubles. Great company.

Eco Store dishwasher tablets great – I bought these recently in a health food shop in Doubleview. They seemed to work better than the ones with caustic as the dishes still had food on them. They only problem is the PRICE . I paid A31.25 for 50 tablets. That seems exhorbitant or am I dreaming !!! Comments please.

A fantastic product! – I too was very impressed when I started using ecostore dishwasher tablets. They give a great result and I have been using them for a couple of years now. I am also very content knowing there are no chemical residues left on my dishes and that I am not releasing chemicals into the sea (where everything in a drain ends up) and degrading the… Read more

environment of all the creatures who live there. But yes it is expensive in monetary terms. This is probably due to its being imported from Denmark to New Zealand and then to us. How wonderful if an Australian importer could pick it up and give us a fairer price. Also woolies seem to not always be stocking it these days and if one has to buy it in an independent store it can cost close to $20 which is almost prohibitive. I love all ecostore products and find them economical( excluding the foregoing), especially the laundry liquid which is concentrated and very effective; just fresh with no perfume, lovely!

Great Results But – Fabulous product, cleans everything with no residue and sparkling wine glasses. But we run on septic and it does state that it is septic safe. we have our system tested every three months by a plumber which then reports to council and we have failed both tests in the last 6 months. The plumber says that the whiteners in the dish washing tablet is bleach and we can't use them as it puts the septic system out of balance

The Best Dishwasher Tablets – They clean really well every time and they are better for the environment and for your health. I would not use anything else.

Works well – After reading the previous reviews here, i decided to try Ecostore Auto Dishwasher tablets. I didn't expect as good a result as i got! For the first time ever i''m using the economy cycle with same perfect results every time. The dishwasher powders i have used previously were very hit and miss as to how well they cleaned dishes no matter what… Read more ·  1

dishwasher cycle i used.

.Cost of tablets works out to .50c per wash however that doesn't include using less electricity and water than before, and no longer needing rinse aid.

My dishwasher is a 2 drawer Fisher and Paykel, and i mostly use the larger top draw.

I'm going to try using half a tablet and will type a follow-up post to this review on how well 1/2 tablet performs.

Excellent – This works better than some of the really well known, hard working tablets. I like the idea of using non toxic cleaning products in my home but I really hate opening the dishwasher only to find the food didn't come off and is now baked on. I haven't had that problem once with this detergent. Very environmentally friendly and no toxic chemicals. … Read more

Has a dissolvable wrapper so its easy to use and you don't get it on your hands. It is usally expensive, but occasionally Woolworths has it on sale for about $5 off so if you get it then its a fantastic deal.

Good – I was really impressed with the cleaning action of this product. I would have given it 5 stars, but for the expensive price. I really put the tablet through it's paces (economy wash, 18 hour, caked-on thick smoothie complete with raspberry seeds, thickly coating 3 glasses) and whilst it didn't clean the glasses perfectly, it did a much better… Read more

job than my usual "diamond standard" tablet. All other items in the dishwasher were beautifully clean. I don't usually wait for 18 hours to wash dishes, but I really wanted to put this product to the ultimate test. I paid $10.00 for 30 tablets (which would last me one month.) The tablets were on special (usual price $15.00.) I will continue to use this product and will stock up when the product is on special. I do feel, however, that the higher purchase price would be enough to deter other buyers from using this product. Committment to environmental awareness, performance More expensive than other brands
