I've had this machine since 2018 and its been fantastic, I love the carafe, its nice but sometimes if you select the most frothed, it might spray a little, but its no big fuss, descaling is a lot more easier with the pipe it comes with, Its been a great machine for me and also when I've got guests, I don't really like the noise level, but again, no big fuss. I was gifted this, after my previous DeLonghi coffee machine developed a leak from the water tank in the base of the machine. This model has the water tank at the rear of the machine. My machine is close to a window, lots of sunlight plus water equals ideal conditions for algal growth. Easy solved by regular cleaning, just a bit annoying. I only noticed it one day, a slight green tinge to the water. Cleaning the water tank is also a bit fiddly, it's narrow, your hand won't fit in it. I wrap a paper towel around some with a long handle, that's the best way to remove the algae.
Also, the connector between the milk reservoir and the machine tends to get clogged with milk residue after a while, even after using the cleaning function after every use. End result, the milk doesn't always get as frothy as the dial setting says. I've found that using a domestic ultrasonic cleaner is the best way to clean the connector out. It feels like there is a flexible valve inside the connector, that may get blocked. I have tried using a chopstick to clear any milk debris, and felt a squishy obstruction.
The milk container is also a bit fiddly to clean, best left to soak in hot water. Getting into to corners is tricky, I found a paper towel wrapped around a chopstick works best. It's supposed to be dishwasher safer, but I'm concerned the clear container will become discoloured, so I hand wash only. I also use a small pipe cleaning brush on the silicone intake tube, as milk residue tends to stick.
I'm otherwise happy with this machine, I know I can have an excellent cup of coffee quickly, with minimal fuss, each and every time. It's very simple to operate, and I can adjust each cup with the individual settings. I use it daily, since December 2021, no major problems, just characteristics of the machine as described above.
Very disappointing – Manual too hard to follow. Coffee not hot enough. Too much froth for a latte or flat white. Our daily essential – We had a Nespresso machine before but recently decided to upgrade so i didnt have to clean the milk frothier coz it was just annoying. The milk tank in this machine is so easy to clean and doesn’t take effort at all. Has. Multiple selections on types of coffee you may wish too pour. Coffe is so much easier in the mornings now and i enjoy my coffee 10x more then i ever have!! Show details
Disappointing – We were happy with the coffee but after less than four months the milk frother stopped working. (Our first machine did the same thing, but after three years). We returned the machine to the place of purchase, but were told that under the terms of the warranty, we could not have a replacement machine or refund, only a repair. Little disappointed – Thought we would update our coffee machine from Delongi Nespresso Citiz to this model. Easy to use, easy to clean, automatically mixes coffee with milk to take in flavour – We replaced our old Nespresso machine which started leaking water after about 4 years and several thousand cups of coffee. Upgraded to this one which mixes in the milk, also allows you to add another option once your coffee is prepared if you want to. The capsules definitely taste better in this version. A bit worried by the number of buttons and potential fro things to go wrong, but hopefully, it will last a good few years. Show details
Drink like George Clooney! – Great machine. Gives hot, tasty coffee and has the function to heat and froth the milk up for the latte or cappuccino. It also has a self cleaning mechanism for the milk spout which certainly helps. Show details

travel because I do travel a lot! But due to COVID-19 I have been at home and this is an essential item in this quarantine period which is why I bought it and It does what it says- Makes great coffee in comfort of your home! I use it 2-3 times a day and cleaning is so easy as it only takes 20 secs! Saves so much money and water as well! Love this machine and I can't wait to purchase another one in the future! Will always go for Nespresso as you have taken my heart!
DeLonghi Coffee Machine Quality – Bought Lattissima Plus machine January 2018. Returned the product 2 days later because it was defective. department told to reset to factory setting. Behaviour of the machine did not change. Rang service again and told to send the machine in to the service department. Warranty ran out 6 weeks ago and the machine has received very little use. Often sitting for weeks without using it. Very, very unhappy. Considering the cost of these machines their durability is very poor.

You can't buy coffee this good! – I love my coffee. If I don't get my fix every morning, I can't string a sentence together. when a friend won a Lattissima machine at work and left it as a gift on our doorstep (how cool are THEY?!) we plugged it up and gave it a run. Oh. My. Gosh. Best coffee ever! And now, if I am out and about, and grab a takeaway one, it just can't compare to my Nespresso. We also now have a Nespresso machine at work, because not only does it make delicious coffee, but it's reliable and easy to use for staff! The pods are affordable also, and they are stock up once a month affordably...I could have 5 Lattissima coffees a day at much less than the price of one Maccas coffee a day. It is also convenient and fast to set up....basically just plug and play.
The frother has a function to make it as frothy or less as you like. I keep it around the middle and it's perfect. It's easy to set the right amount of capsule and milk to disperse each time. The only thing to be mindful of is that it will give an extra burst of coffee from the capsule again after the milk, because that's how they do it in Italy, or at least, that's what the Nespresso Rep at Good Guys told us...or something of the like. My husband doesn't like this but i don't notice the difference. He will simply press the button to stop it but i let it finish the cycle.
Don't waste your money on other brands or models!!
FYI, we buy the Roma pods for cappuccinos. For espresso, we use the Fortissio Lungo pods.

Get your coffee hit quick – Got this machine and it has changed my life. I used to drink coffee from the coffee powder in glass jars. They were nothing compared to the coffee made by this machine! The milk is frothed, the coffee is brewed and all is done in a touch of a button! Cleanup is simple and easy as well, you only need to descale it occasionally. Cannot imagine a life without it now. Milk frother seems like a dud – The quality of the coffee produced is consistent which is great, we use ours with Nespresso pods. We upgraded from our Pixie to this machine, purely because of the milk frother. However, this is our second Latissma Touch, after having replaced our first a month after owing it due to the milk frother not working. I’ve called Nespresso who’ve suggested a descale which we will try. I’ll update my review if the descale solved the problem! Show details
Perfect coffee every time – This has made my morning very easy. The quality of the coffee produced by the machine is excellent it is robust and the milk is always perfect. This is by far the best along I have ever owned with even the coffee and milk being hotter. I love this machine. Show details
Broke on second use! – This seemed like an excellent machine with good reviews. It made one very good cappuccino but, when I ejected the pod and inserted a new one the “pod crusher lever” snapped off. It was a gift from work colleagues so I cannot ask them for the receipt.
