Customer service – Kristy from customer service at the factory went far and beyond any customer service I have ever dealt with. Kristy made me feel like I was the only customer and I felt really taken care of. My caravan came back with more work done just because she thought it would be better for me and enhanced the appearance of my van. Concept and Kristy are the reason worth buying caravans from them as they really do care. Michelle Show details

Next Level Comfort and a Home away from Home – Have had this 2022 Ascot series 22 21' Van for 2 Months now and it tows well and is very comfortable to live in , have travelled some 2000 k's on rough on road roads plus some dirt and everything is where it should be and nothing has been an issue or failed or rattled loose, this is a quality Van that has so far surpassed my expectations , this is… Read more
a Statesman not a Belmont or Kingswood Van. 12V Lighting is wow next level LED , plenty of water and Grey water storage as well , Shower is huge Rock and Roller suspension has been taking vans all around Australia for years , just drive to conditions but this is not a Canning stock route or Gibb River Road Van but National Parks are doable at the right Pace, Solar and Battery is Fine for a couple of days but after that you will need external Solar panels or a Genset for longer Can't fault it and hope it stays that way
Happy besides noisy water pump – Easy tow great in weather very happy 2018 600r. Besides noisy water pump a common fault with this ban all Good . Highly recommend attention to detail on wire and management system Show details
Can’t go past Concept – I have a 2016 Innovation with off-road suspension ( coil springs and 8 shock absorbers) which I purchased from new. I have been on 19 trips for a total off 32 weeks including the Birdsville and Oodnadatta track which was rough going . My Truma hot water system has been great apart from the annoying cover you have to take of if you want to run it… Read more
on gas instead of 240v. Unlike other vans that I have had nothing has gone wrong with this van apart from 1 minor issue where most of the toilet door slide screws unscrewed so I just put triple the amount of screws back to permanently rectify the issue . There have been times when I have been a bit rough with the van and stupidly broken things where it was my fault and Elise from customer service was great to deal with in making and supplying another part. I have really put this van through its paces. Value for money I believe Concept make the best quality vans so much so that I have just updated and bought another one. Keep in mind you are only paying around $75,000 for a 20.5 ft van and there are manufacturers that charge over $150,000 for a slightly better build.
not happy with hws – .TheTruma Ultra Rapid hot water system used by Concept is absolute rubbish.I have had 3 units in my van in 5 years,at about $1100 each installed with no warranty . period Show details

Trip of a lifetime turned into trip full of problems – I was so happy so I thought when I bought my concept innovation. I went away for 7 months and about 2 months in the issues/problems happened. * hotwater system tripped whole caravan * Wash machine practically fell off the wall, had to stop and push it back in. Found 3 screws weren’t screwed in at all, the tape on screw not touched. The top… Read more
of washing machine had done
I missed out on Kakadu as I was stuck in Darwin trying to get it fixed
* towel rail fell off, one screw missing,
* wires to the car ended up cut me blamed but the drawbar had a sharp edge which cut me and then wiring, it was fixed and protected but they refused to pay at first. Only did later due to numerous other issues
* fridge stopped working so 10 days waiting for parks, trip rearranged
* solar never worked for 7 months so couldn’t stay st set places. Took to Rockhampton with promise of it being fixed and drawer but never was due to parts wouldn’t arrive in time despite 3 weeks to 2 months plus notice but was charged for more electrical issues
* front of drawer fell off see above wasn’t fixed until months later
* water got through door
* bad finish around seats and other things coming lose
* sawdust covered cupboard floors
* wardrobe came away st wall
* leak from shower lack of sealant
* shower head would never stay up
* fridge broke again
* battery had to be replaced under 2 years old despite no solar for a year and plugged into 240 volt and told only one year warranty and laughed when told about ACL
* battery stopped in Darwin and nothing worked due to lose connections by manufacturers
* top inside of fridge fell off
* feeezer wouldn’t freeze properly
* freezer door wouldn’t seal properly and freeze up them couldn’t open.
* brakes locked up, they don’t cover issues with brakes even though I was so lucky.
Took it to be fixed in the end and was told by relief service manager all done could see it wasn’t and had to wait for some.
Had to fight to get money back I had to pay despite things not being done. Was blamed for my issues despite numerous issues.
Still fighting to get money back for a faulty battery
Would never recommend and do tell people of my continuing issues
Too many emails which in the end unanswered and photos taken.
Happy – We bought our first caravan after looking for 8 years. It is now just over 3 years old, we have been on 23 trips including 4 interstate trips our last being 2 weeks to SA which we have just returned from. We are delighted with the van. It has not faulted and we have been happy with the quality of build and fittings. Have not had any cause to deal… Read more
with the factory since so I am unable to talk about after sales service. We will certainly consider Concept when we update
590 SB Good quality & solid build – 2014 build had not been used when we bought it in 2017 so all out of warranty. A few small defects easily remedied. Towing was twitchy with only 110kg on ball in normal touring trim but OK with 170kg when outboard & folding trailer added in tunnel boot. Very comfortable & roomy van with good quality gear & would rate it 5 star after fixing… Read more

One year later:
Many trips, some only a few hundred km, but 3 of 3000 - 4000km in varying conditions & types of country, & very happy with the van, but frig did not perform well despite fans at rear. Problem solved by info from internet; the thermistor in frig is clipped onto a fin on the evaporator, so this was unclipped & the cable bent to suspend the thermistor beneath the drip tray. Dometic frigs do not have a good reputation & I think they need better insulation as there is a big difference in performance when the aircon is on compared to when the van is very hot.
We have met a few Concept owners along the way & all have been happy with their vans
One happy family – We bought our Concept Innovation 600DB (Double Bunks) just over a year ago. Been away on 6 or 7 trips. No issues and very happy with the build quality. Layout suits us well. Front Boot brilliant for storage and ours came with a toolbox on an extended A-frame. Everything still works and nothing has 'fallen off' or broken. Great value for money van Show details
12 months old and still faultless – Bought Concept Innovation 600R 12 months ago and still can't fault it. Looking at "lemon caravans in Aus" on Facebook, I was horrified to see 25 manufacturers listed. Some of these brands were on my short list! So happy to have chosen my concept, I got exactly what I expected Show details
Disgusted – Bought a concept caravan 8 weeks ago had it home for 1 week before the side sucked in with the heat . We took it back to get fixed. We waited 7 weeks to pick it up and we are discussed there are scratches around 2 main windows. and silicone 10mm thick due to the fact the window is not sittinf flush like the top of window, the vent has been put… Read more
