This TV came with our new caravan. Would not recommend this cheap TV at all. As soon as you turn up the volume to be able to hear it the sound becomes very distorted and impossible to listen to. I emailed Chiq who advised that it is a cheap TV with cheap speakers and that my only option was to purchase some external speakers.
You can get bigger, better FHD TVs for about the same price, but this is a good choice for a low-wattage 12V TV in a small space like a campervan. This has a good picture for HD with decent brightness and contrast than other 24” TVs I’ve seen. headphone jack). Android TV is a winner. Apps play fine despite only 1gb ram, but the remote can lag on the busy homepage so I installed a simple, faster launcher. Power draw on 12V DC (no lead supplied) is only 17W on aerial TV, 24W using apps. It has USB for videos and TV record, VESA for wall mount, or the stand is very stable and better than other caravan TVs.

Awesome tv for caravans or bedroom – On our lap around Oz our tv broke in our van so we purchased this 24 inch Chiq Smart tv. to do. Picture is as clear as we need. We are quite close in the caravan so sound is also perfect. It has subtitles’ ability if hubby is sleeping. Operates really easy for us grey nomads. Turn it on and when we arrive in a new place go to Settings, Channels, Scan and it finds all our channels for that area. Sooo much better than our last tv. WiFi is easily set up on phone or modem if home. I’ve set up Netflix, Seven Plus etc. The remote control has Netflix, YouTube, Google Play and Prime video. Just key a code into phone app and they’re all set up. HDMI is easily plugged in at back as is USB where you can also record tv programs on. It’s a light tv (2.5kgs) and easy to take down from caravan mount and use in house. I haven’t found any negatives after 6 months of use. It has a 3 year manufacturer warranty as well. Very happy campers!!!
Great little tv – Can’t fault this tv, good picture, sound is fine for the bedroom, easy to set up for a non tech person. Mounts to wall. Netflix, youtube etc on it. Would recommend. Show reply
