Sensational Auto-Trail Imala - Perfect – Elite RV at Lyndhurst Vic was incredible and we were so fortunate to get exactly what we wanted as a display became available at the perfect timing we started looking. Our first trip in a Victorian Winter was so warm that we didn’t even need the heater on at night - insulation is incredible. So much comfort and luxury and drives like a car - so happy with our decision for an Auto-Trail. Show details
Love the Autotrail Delaware – The 2013 Delaware we purchased in September 2018 from Elite RV in Queensland, once cleaned, is beautiful inside and out. It has everything you need and desire and drives like a dream, however the service received from Darren was non existant. We were promised the vehicle would be clean and detailed, it was not.. He was rude and intimidating and… Read more
when we asked him why there was urine around the cassette toilet he said you have to expect that with a second hand vehicle. Would not recommend anyone to go near his dealership.
Great product. Disappointing local service – The FB is a beautiful motor home and we are very happy with our purchase. The Fiat Ducati is a great drive and the finish and features of the motor home are top class. Unfortunately the same can't be said of the customer service provided by Elite RV. The workshop staff are helpful but the responsiveness and customer care of the admin and… Read more
management staff is appalling! Their attitude has spoiled a great experience and has stopped us from recommending your product to other Gold Coast buyers.
On the road in style – The recent addition of the Auto Trail range of motorhomes into Australian must have made the local manufactures question just how far behind the times that their products were. After owning two local 'common name' produced motorhomes here and one Italian designed vehicle while travelling in Europe, we realised that the overseas produced vehicles… Read more
were light years ahead of anything made locally regardless of price.
Having sold the motorhome that we had been touring through Europe in 2015 we were now motor homeless 'feeling like a snail without a shell' so decided to buy another vehicle.
After looking at both near new and near new units we were feeling rather disappointed about what was on offer almost deciding on the best of a bad lot! it was at this point that we came across the Auto Trail importer and local distributor.
Comparing the latest locally made motorhomes with the Auto Trail range and seeing the quality, innovation and sheer luxury of these motorhomes we felt that it would be a no brainer to buy anything other than one of their vehicles.
For our purposes we chose the' FB' model on a Fiat Ducato and have been travelling in it full time since hitting the road.
It has been a sheer delight to travel in, even to be able to have a conversation or listen to lovely music at 110 kph, something that is impossible with some of the fuel hungry rear wheel drive rigs that are around),
Auto Trail is also one of the few manufacturers that has put some thought into mounting the TV without it being at an awkward angle or protruding into kitchen space. (it drops down from the cabin headliner) a second TV can be wall mounted in front of the French bed. The internal storage lockers are cavernous and the external lockers are well placed.
Whether we are parked in the street or a campsite there is seldom a day go by that the distinctive styling of our Auto Trail fails to attracts attention from curious onlookers or other motorhome owners.
Although at this point in time they do not come with a rangehood, ( a concept that seems to be alien to the English manufacturers) it was very easy to add a Sphere touch screen unit.
For off the grid power we have added a Honda EU20i generator that quite capably runs the powerful air conditioner.
(The gas bottles were moved to the other side of the vehicle and the generator set up in the large lift up bay.)
The Auto Trail FB has style comfort and so many extra features that other vehicles lack it would be pointless to try and cover them to the point that one common local manufacturer has even copied the placement of the easy to access spare mounted on the back.
As for our dealings with the guys at Elite RV, they have been excellent and any minor queries have been dealt with immediately.
This a vehicle that puts sheer pleasure into leisure.
April 25th, 2017 Update: Another day on the road, another day travelling in style.
Since taking delivery of our Auto Trail FB in December 2015 we have travelled almost the distance of two circumnavigations around Australia, enjoying every moment.
This will be the fourth motorhome that we have owned and not one of the previous ones have come near the quality and comfort of the Auto-Trail.
The short length of the FB is deceiving as the clever inside design creates a very spacious living area and the creative dining arrangement has proved to be perfect for our style of living on the road.
The after sale service of both Elite RV and Fiat have lived up to and beyond the expectations that had of both companies.
Auto-Trail Tracker FB – This motorhome after 22,000 klms travelling as far north as Cooktown, west to Ceduna and around NSW/VIC has performed exactly as described by the manufacturer. We are very pleased with the vehicle and would buy another one, and probably will.
