do have other options Foxtel etc they are a great machine I'm very happy with them and it's not sony that doesn't support Netflix it is actually Netflix decision to cease connection.

When it will recognise a disc, it freezers up, the sound is weird, it pixelates. This unit has now been Defenestrated. (Thrown Out The Window)
The top menu button keeps saying its not available , disc tray takes 10 to 30 minutes to open, I tried restarting it to factory default, HDMI CEC… Read more
not working with either a compatible tv at all. The player wants you to update it everytime you turn it on and it won't load and install it it won't update at all. I bought it on 20th August at Harvey Norman in Orange NSW Australia this year. It worked the first day now it won't not with my tv. The player wont resume playback from where I last stopped it at.

then restart again. Tried to watch a DVD movie the next night. The machine made a horrible high pitched sound and nothing would display on the tv. Turned off and on. Did the same thing again. Cleaned DVD disc, did the same thing. Tried another DVD and did the exact same thing. Yes it's cheap, but I thought it would last longer than 2 episodes!!
The best blu-ray player for your home – I purchased this so I could play heaps of DVDs/Blu-Rays on my 4K TV that I make myself. Show details
Not bad for the price – Fast start up and good for the price. Set up is very easy and connect well with Hulu and Netflix. Only down fall, it is region restricted and lack of App. Show details

I do not recommend this player it is the worst I have ever purchased. The remote is unresponsive requiring several presses of the very small buttons even after replacing the batteries. The programming is difficult especially exiting sleep mode. Show details
Panasonic DMR-BWT460GN hotter than my toaster – I recently purchased a Panasonic DMR-BWT460GN to replace my Panasonic Blu-Ray pvr DMR-BWT800 which performed perfectly for 10 years, but finally… Read more
stopped working. All the Panasonic devices I have previously purchased have been brilliant and the DMR-BWT460GN which has most of the same functions of my old unit, looked like a good replacement choice. However, after operating the DMR-BWT460 for a few hours the outer case of the unit gets too hot to touch. Not sure if this is normal or maybe the fan is not working. I live in an apartment, and to be safe as the pvr has no legs, I have placed temporary spacers underneath to allow ventilation and I manually turn the unit off before I leave the apartment or retire for the night. Not exactly convenient. Does anyone have the same experience or can give me some advice on how to adjust the DMR-BWT460GN to resolve the heating problem.
Customer Service were not able to resolve so I decided to leave it turned off ♨️
Hi Chris, for all product support please contact Panasonic on132600 and they will assist you further.

Very good compact cd dvd portable player. Have played 50++ photo cds. Quick delivery of a amazon buy within Australia by ARAMEX COURIERS BRISBANE. For indoors use only is my preference. Using cds of photos made at officeworks & big w.
I am surprised to find the resolution and buffering of poor resolution quality. The unit will freeze sometimes before you have finished watching a… Read more

some USBs will play while others won't. The USBs all played on the Panasonic; but Verbatim & Emtec no longer will, although they still all play in the car & through the TV. SanDisk is the only one still playing thru the Panasonic

just over 1000 $Au) option 4 with firmware update, jail break and 4tb hard drive. I found player to be very good and there really isn't much choice for us in Australia. I tried Panasonic UB820 and didn't like it (stoped between layers and a cheap feel) so I returned it. Sony's lack a display and most of what I play is CD's, I do not want tv on just to listen to cd's. Giec are unknown here but seem to make decent player's. I love the inclusion of both a physical disc drive and a built-in Hard Drive bay. No complaints except maybe... Owners manual almost useless, No english next to keys on remote control, (although most are easy to work or have symbols and has good backlighting) and does not display track info on display (although does on Tv) when playing CD's. I did also have to buy a SATA HD inclosure to write files to HD from my Mac. I decided to write a review on this because there are very few out here, I hope this helps. Is China the new Japan?
Bought this today at Officeworks, when I unboxed it, I was so surprised by its really small shape, and that it is powered by usb or plug in wall usb… Read more
adaptor, I love the design on the front, it looks very modern and sleek, Blaupunkt have always had a good rep for design and quality, it plays DVDs beautiful, as like they are brand new, however, not that this is a big deal, the UI on it is like a tv from a previous decade, the setup menus could look newer, but it does the job, I would recommend this to somebody who wants a simple but good DVD Player.

Don't waste your money and time on this junk DVD from laser. They got crappy product and labels laser.. Not working properly. Refused return and . Show details
Clunky, and not user friendly – The remote is poorly designed, it doesn't even have a play button. Also, you have to point it at exactly the right angle. The DVD player is selective in which prescribed DVDs it will play, and doesn't automatically restart at the beginning.
