Sony PlayStation 3
Pros: Great graphics, great sound, large range of games, blu-ray, internet, photo album, music player, movie player, chat, online communities, and can be used as a computer with linux

Cons: Lacks some stability, but mainly in cohesiveness between all of its features

Overall: As a movie player, the PS3 is great because I can watch movies from my DVD collection, and even the new blu-ray format, which is absolutely beautiful. Just a bit of trivia for you wall, did you know the blu-ray format quality is actually toned down from the actual quality blu-ray can produce? AVIs are supported, depending on the codec used, so overall movie value is there. Photo album is great with the photo gallery program they have there. Soothing music, great photo organisation, and a great way to just share your photos or use as a display. Music is great to organise and categorise. Quality is superb depending on your speakers and what you can handle with your equipment. Community is great with Playstation Home; virtual facebook or myspace or bebo, twitter, all that. Fun little activities to do while you're in there, but really a great place to meet people with similar interests. Of course, at the same time, a great place to find a lot of freaks too. As a media centre, the PS3 is perfect in bundling movie, music, photo, into one. Buying a blu-ray player and digital photo albums will cost close to what a PS3 is, so why not take the next step up and have it in a single sleek unit, with the addition of internet, community, and games. Games are plentiful, even if a lot of them are already on other consoles. If you're just a serious gamer, than whether you use the PS3 or whatever doesn't make a difference. What makes the PS3 stand out is when you look into what else it provides.

Sony PSP
Pros: Beautiful screen, decent library of games, video, music, internet, skype, and other various quirks, even GPS

Cons: Battery isn't the greatest unless you purchase the heavy duty stuff, memory cards required, overall costs involved in using the PSP

Overall: If you have a bit of cash on you, the PSP is great for an all rounder portable entertainment device. The beautiful screen is a pleasure to look at and the graphics are superb for the size and power the PSP offers. Videos need to be converted to be watched on the PSP which can be annoying, but a joy to watch due to screen quality and sound quality. And speaking of sound quality, music goes quite well with the PSP and provides decent bass. WiFi is great in quickly browsing around, and various functions and add-ons like Skype or GPS is usually for various users depending on what they do. Although there is a large range of games, there's not a lot of party games for casual easy fun, but even the mature intensive games can be fun via ad-hoc, and very limited number of games, wifi. The only real restriction is the memory card requirement but if you have a decent size, you won't have any problems; mainly only movies and music.

Nova 100.3 FM
Pros: Different, diverse, relatively new music, fun to listen to if you enjoy their crude humor

Cons: Though they play the new music, sometimes not all of them are that great, but that's the great diversity of it, I can never seem to call through

Overall: The talk hosts have a lot of personality and diversity between each host. I don't know them all very well but their opinions and jokes are great to listen to most of the time. They will bring up a topic and put a fun spin to it, making it easier to relate to. Though they are having fun, they do make a point and people need to really think more on their actions. Music is great most of the time but some of them really aren't all that great. I wish they would play some older music which are absolutely awesome but their slogan is 'never more than two ads' and 'new music first'. At least I can keep up with what's out there, even if the music isn't always necessarily the newest.

Love Hina
Pros: Funny, witty, casual

Cons: Long

Overall: Love Hina is about Keitaro who is a general failure as a student. He remembers when he was younger, he makes a promise to get into Tokyo University with his childhood friend/sweetheart. However, he struggles to accomplish this and eventually moves into a apartment he inherits to become the new manager off. Whilst pertaining to the guests, whom are all females, he must study at the same time. He starts to have a liking for one of the girls and finds out she is also trying to get into Tokyo U. Now only does he study and work hard, but he also has to be mature, careful, and sensitive to the girls as not to offend them and succeed in all areas of interest. A lot of the time though, the episodes feel like side episodes rather than main story plot but is always a joy to watch.

Chrono Crusade
Pros: Character development, good story

Cons: Can feel a little long at times, even though the series is short

Overall: There is a lot of action in this series and the plot is constantly developing. Chrono who is a devil with locked powers, and Rosette who is a sister go work together to exterminate other demons. At the same time, Rosette is looking for her lost brother. One day, an old friend of Chrono appears and things start to unfold. A great plot emerges and Chrono is forced to use his demonic powers more often. The unfortunate part is that whilst using this, Rosette's life is drained. The action is great but can feel dragged at times and the ending is great and overall series give a mix load of emotions and feelings towards the characters.

Delta Force Black hawk Down Team Sabre
Pros: Fast, furious, explosive, looks great, sounds great, fun multiplayer

Cons: scripted single player, bland at times

Overall: Delta Force Black Hawk Down is based on the Somalian war in 1993 and it captures most of what happened. Thrown into a war torn city, you fight through mobs of militia to complete your mission and save your comrades. The challenge mainly comes from the overwhelming number of enemies, rather than the AI and tactical play. The game is designed to be fast. The expansion Team Sabre adds to this two new campaigns in two new areas. Again, AI is simple and challenge comes from the number of enemies there are. However, take this online and it's a different experience. It's chaotic, but it's controlled chaos. Players can create their own maps and share across the community, given fresh ideas and tweaks to various play styles. The load out of weapons give you chance over various game modes and if you enjoy fast paced action, you'll enjoy this.

Australia Post
Pros: Cheap, good tracking service, relatively on time with shipments

Cons: Unreliable delivery service at times

Overall: Looking for a standard mailing service, Australia Post provides a decent pricing range for various shipments we may send in our lives. PO Boxes is a great use for various customers and having access to them can make shipping to various places more easier. Having worked with them for a little over a year in a business sending out orders daily, we required something cheap and efficient. Both cases were satisfied. Tracking parcels was relatively good when all goes well. But when something is lost, it can take a while to figure it all out which can become annoying at times. Shipments are on time most of the time as they generally have enough people delivering parcels and there isn't always a huge overload, except during busy seasons; which is generally the crucial seasons also. However, the biggest gripe I had with them was the lack of service the drivers provided. They are supposed to leave cards in the mailbox if there was an attempted delivery and a lot of our customers did not receive this card. Only thanks to the automated tracking system were we able to quickly correct these issues, but sometimes it isn't enough as the system isn't updated properly and we need to call. Overall, anything national, Australia Post runs well. They aren't an international business which is unfortunate. Although they can do it, the service is limited and slow.

Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate
Pros: Beautiful interface, nice organisation of folders and functions, quite stable, greater diagnostic tools for errors compared to older versions

Cons: Requires fair bit of resources, isn't fully backwards compatible with older products

Overall: The tools provided in Vista are more in-depth compared to XP and the new themes are organisation of files is a very nice touch. Because of these changes, a slight learning curve is required to get used to the new interface, but once picked up, it is easy to work with. During crashes or errors, there are more options provided and depending on the problem, there are diagnostic tools within Vista to figure out what could be the issue. The sidebar is nice to have where I am regularly updated with currency, weather, stocks, notes, etc. The only real problems is the extra power Vista takes to run but like anything new, this is very normal and does not support a lot of older products, leaving you in the dust and required to upgrade. Overall, great operating system. Looks great and runs great if you have the hardware. It's comfortable to look at making it pleasing to work with for those who aren't too picky and can do it.

ViewSonic VA1912wb / VA1912w
Pros: Sharp quality, good colour

Cons: Could do with a little bit more vibrancy

Overall: The ViewSonic VA1912 is a 19" flat panel monitor with built-in speakers. Visuals is crystal clear, and colour is beautiful, dark, and rich. But when it comes to brightness, it lacks a little. Nevertheless, you will get display is superb the widescreen is great. The built-in speakers aren't very good at all and is a basic stereo, mix or close to mono even. You're not going to really get a lot of quality out of it but for what it does sound, it does decent enough. If you're looking for a great monitor, the VA1912 is a nice fair priced monitor to use. The built-in speakers is convenient for schools who don't need real speakers, saving you that extra bit.

Sony KDL32V4000 / KDL40V4000
Pros: A lot of inputs, decent built-in speaker quality, HD ready, 1080p

Cons: The 24bit system leaves much to be desired at times when you wish it was 32bit at least, no full 255 colour spectrum

Overall: I have one in my bedroom and I purchase the V series because it was the cheaper model at that time, and 32" because it was the perfect size and distance ratio for my bedroom, and I love it; I just wish I had a cable running in here for TV though. Smooth, clean images with various modes to bring to life colour, vibrancy, contrast, and depth. It's too bad it doesn't have the full 255 colour spectrum, but even without it, blacks are very black and it is absolutely beautiful. The built-in speakers a pretty good quality and pretty loud too. Bass is evident, though not strong and very deep. You can't expect much from built-in devices, but you'll be amazed with the overall quality. If you're looking for something cheap but of great quality, you can't go wrong with the V series.

Mr.Gadget
Pros: Good range of products for purchase Quick and friendly service

Cons: Sometimes service a little slow

Overall: I've been shopping with Mr.Gadget for a long time now and usually my orders get done fast. Only recently orders are a little more inconsistent; sometimes quick, sometimes slow. Looks like with all the new customers they have, they need to up-size their business to keep up. Will still shop with Mr.Gadget even in these down times because I know they'll get back to speed and always happy with their quality products. For those with a bit of patience and understanding, I recommend these guys.
