Pros:
This console made an engineering revolution with it's quick loading times and large array of games including 2 Halo games and 2 star wars battlefront games that sold over 1 000 each. The burnout racing games were also high sellers, for it's time this console is unbeatable play-station 2, game-cube and Nintendo 64 couldn't keep up with the tidal wave of games that Microsoft kept making this console was infinitely better at multiplayer than the main rival play-station 2
Cons:
This console's controllers were flimsy and broke too easily.
The discs often didn't work and couldn't be read by the Xbox for up to 10 minutes and then would just "magically" work.
Overall:
This console was fantastic and deserved every sale it got, this console forced better things out of other console makers with their fierce competition, it was this competition and quick release of games that made it dominate the Nintendo game-cube
Pros:
The XBOX is a great device and I spent hundreds of hours of my life on this console, playing games like halo and the early Call of Duty games, before I upgraded to the XBOX 360 elite. the graphics on this console are amazing (they demolish those of the play station 2 or the Game cube, they were the best at the time). The controllers are really easy to use and fit much more comfortably in your hand than those of any of the play stations.
Cons:
The Controllers have annoying cables, which tangle as someone walks past the television, unlike the new wireless controllers for the Xbox 360.
Overall:
The XBOX is a great console, the first of many, this console is great to play with your friends (up to 4 players on one console or up to 16 on XBOX live) or great to play alone, with its great graphics, although it doesn't quite measure up to today's standards.
Pros:
Was the best 4 player console of it's time. It was also the only game console that could play the best selling game Halo. The graphics were great on this console. Great party console. Controllers were very sturdy.
Cons:
The controllers are a bit bulky. It is rare, but the disc tray can get jammed and must be either pried open or taken to a repair shop.
Overall:
This is the groundbreaking console for 4 play on a single console. It provided me with thousands of hours of entertainement. Playing Halo on this was many peoples favourite past time, including mine. Amazing console.
