2. How do I view my account information?
To view your account information, click the My Account link at the top of any page. You must be signed in to ProductReview.com.au to view your account information.

3. Can I change my email address?
No. Your email address is the only attribute of your ProductReview.com.au account to which all of your other information is connected. Changing your email address would cause you to lose all of the reviews, ratings, trust, and rewards points you have accumulated, and for this reason, it cannot be done.

4. How do I stop receiving email from ProductReview.com.au?
To change your preferences for receiving email from ProductReview (Email Alerts, Newsletters, etc.), click the Email Alerts link on the My Account page. To stop receiving general updates about the site, uncheck the box next to "I would like to receive occasional email about ProductReview.com.au" at the bottom of the page and click the Update button. To stop receiving specific email alerts, check the box next to the name of the alert you wish to discontinue and click Update. You can visit your Account Summary page by clicking the view your account link at the top of any page. You must be signed in to ProductReview.com.au to change your email settings.

To edit your Public Profile, click the Edit Public Profile link on your Account Summary page. You can visit your Account Summary page by clicking the My Account link at the top of any page. You must be signed in to ProductReview.com.au to edit your Public Profile.

6. How do I add a photo to my Public Profile?
You can click on the Browse button which appears next to the Image field of your Public Profile page to upload an image. To edit your Public Profile, click the Edit Public Profile link on your Account Summary page. You can visit your Account Summary page by clicking My Account link at the top of any page. You must be signed in to ProductReview.com.au to edit your Public Profile.

Please be sure that the URL is directed to an image file (.gif or .jpg) on your web page.

1. Does ProductReview.com.au sell products?
ProductReview.com.au does not sell or manufacture any of the products listed on the site. However, ProductReview.com.au offers links throughout the site to other companies that can provide you with price and availability information.

2. How can I buy a product after researching it on ProductReview.com.au?
When you are finished researching and are ready to buy a product, click on the Check latest prices button that appears either on the product or the reviews pages. This link will give you information on the current price and availability of the product at online retailers from whom you can purchase the product.

In some cases, the product you are looking for may not be offered on the sites which provide this information. In these cases, you may find buttons to Check prices on similar items or Find at auctions, or there may be no pricing information available.

3. I checked prices on a product and the information was incorrect. To whom do I report this?
The Check latest prices buttons will take you to other sites that maintain pricing and availability information. If you find incorrect data on one of these pages, please contact the company providing the information directly.

ProductReview.com.au helps you make informed buying decisions. It is a premier source for unbiased advice, personalized recommendations, and comparative shopping.

2. Who can write reviews on ProductReview.com.au?
Any user can submit a review with a minimum of 150 words for a Long Review and a minimum of 20 words for a Short Review. In order for your Long reviews to be published on the site, you must be a registered member and have your account activated. For short reviews, you are not required to be a memeber of ProductReview.com.au; however, they are not eligible to earn any reward points.

3. How do I join ProductReview.com.au?
Joining ProductReview.com.au is simple. Start by clicking Sign Up Now! at the top of any page. Complete the registration form, click Create my account! A confirmation email will be sent to the email address specified in your registration form. Follow the instructions outlined in that email and your account will be activated.

4. Does ProductReview.com.au put only favorable reviews of its advertisers' products on the site?
No. ProductReview.com.au displays all reviews that meet the minimum requirements, regardless of whether or not those reviews praise or criticize companies that advertise on ProductReview.com.au

5. What if I want to review a product or service that is not listed on ProductReview.com.au?
If you don't see a product that you want to write a review on, you can go to Add an Item link and upload the item details and write a review for it. This will be published upon approval. 1. How do I write a review?
On any product, category, or review page, click the Write a Review link. You will be taken to a form where you can enter write your review and submit it.

2. What are the requirements for submitting a review?
Visitors have an option of writing either a Long Review or a Short Review. A short review must be a minimum of 20 words and does not qualify for Rewards Points. A Long Review earns Rewards Points and requires a minimum of 150 words. In order for your Long Reviews to be published on the site, you must be a registered member and have your account activated.

3. What does it mean to save a review as a draft?
This feature allows you to save a work in progress. After you save a review as a Draft, it is stored in draft form, but will not be visible to others on the site until you submit it. While the review is a draft, you can continue to edit it and make changes, and then choose to submit it at a later date.

4. How do I publish a review saved as a draft?
On your Account Summary page is a list of draft reviews you have saved. To publish a draft, click on the link to EDIT the review. Make any changes you would like, then click submit. If your review meets the minimum requirements, it will be approved by one of our moderators and will be published.

5. What is the difference between a Short Review and a Long Review?
Short Reviews and Long have a few major differences, which are:

  • Length. Short Reviews are at least 20 words and less than 150. Long Reviews contain a minimum of 150 words.
  • The Member Rewards Program. Rewards Points are not distributed for writing Short Reviews.
  • Users. Long Reviews can only be submitted by registered members of ProductReview, whereas Short Reviews can be submitted by any users and visitors of the site.

No. ProductReview.com.au wants you to be brutally honest in your reviews, even if it means saying negative things. Consumers who are trying to decide whether or not to buy a product need to know its good and bad aspects in order to make an informed decision.

9. How can I see a list of products that another member has reviewed?
To view a list of all the products that another member has reviewed, go to the member's profile page and that will display the Reviews written by this member.

1. How are the Top-Rated Products determined?
All of the products in a category or subcategory are ranked based on their overall star rating.

2. How do I rate a product?
There are two ways of rating a product. You can either click on the radio buttons on the top right hand-side of a product or rate the product while writing a review. You will also be able to click on "Rate Now" link and rate the product.

3. Can I change my rating of a product?
You can cancel the rating as soon as you submit the rating, but you cannot change it later. If you have saved a review as a Draft, you will be able to change the ratings for that product.

1. What are Short Reviews?
Short Reviews are short, concise reviews that sum up a reviewer's experience. A single Short Review is not likely to contain enough information for a shopper to make a buying decision. Short Reviews are useful to consumers in aggregate. They are used by consumers to backup what they have learned from the reviews.

2. What is the difference between Short Reviews and Long Reviews?
Short Reviews and Long Reviews have a few major differences, which are:

  • Length. Short Reviews are at least 20 words and less than 150. Long Reviews contain a minimum of 150 words.

1. What are Rewards Points?
Rewards Points are assigned for writing useful Long Reviews. You can redeem your Rewards Points for some great Rewards listed here.

At this time, you can earn Rewards Points through the Member Rewards Program. Please look at our Rewards page here

3. When can I redeem rewards?
You can redeem rewards when you have reached the minimum balance necessary to redeem the rewards with the lowest points. You do have the option of accumulating more and redeeming rewards which require a higher number of points.

4. Do I have to write positive reviews to receive Rewards Points?
No. Consumers want to know about the good and the bad. Because both negative and positive reviews factor into buying decisions, you can earn just as much for a negative review as you can for a positive review.

5. How do I redeem my points?
To redeem your points, got to My Account and on the left panel click the Redeem Points link and follow the steps given.

6. How do I check my points balance?
Your current points balance is displayed under your Account Details. You can access it by clicking My Account at the top of the ProductReview.com.au home page when you are logged in, as well as on your My Account page. You can reach your Account Details page by clicking the My Account link at the top of any page. From My Account page, you can find more information about your points by going to Points History.

7. How long will it take for me to receive my Reward once I redeem it?
You will normally receive your rewards within 7 days of redeeming your Points. If you have not received your rewards after this time, please write to us at contact@ProductReview.com.au

8. I am not an Australian resident. Can I enter the Member Rewards Program?
Currently, the Member Rewards Program is open to Australian Residents ONLY.
